Nick
Originally from the Philadelphia area and now based in Los Angeles, Nick Lynch is a guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, audio engineer, and music instructor. He graduated Cum Laude from USC’s Thornton School of Music with a B.M. in Popular Music Guitar Performance and a secondary focus in Music Production.
Nick’s work spans live performance, songwriting, recording, production, and teaching. He has performed extensively throughout Southern California and is currently producing Will Lipton’s upcoming debut solo album. He also works in audio engineering at The Recording Club in Santa Monica, working professional recording sessions and studio operations and running live sound. He teaches guitar and digital music production to students in Los Angeles-area schools through Concorde Education as well as private guitar lessons in students' homes and from his home teaching studio.
A guitarist first, Nick also works across bass, drums, songwriting, arranging, and production. His influences range from rock and alternative music to R&B, soul, pop, and beyond, shaping an approach centered on versatility, collaboration, and serving the song.
Whether performing, producing, working in the studio, or teaching, Nick brings the same mindset to the work: listen closely, understand what the music needs, and find a way to make it happen.
